On Zettelkasten
I've been reading about the Zettelkasten method, and it seems like a very powerful process while also being quite entertaining. I've always wanted to organize my thoughts into a usable system, not quite like an encyclopedia where the purpose is knowledge retrieval but an organic and organized web meant to inspire divergent (ideation) and convergent (analysis) thinking.
The Zettelkasten method begins with an idea in a sheet of paper (a zettel), which may refer to or will be referred to by another zettel. Zettelkasten, therefore, is a living document, which, in my own world, is much like an entity's privacy management program. Corporate policies on privacy grow linearly, referring to more particular documents for guidelines and task management while also referred by other policies as a precursor.
Anyway, I think Zettelkasten can work as a good system. I'm going to try it moving forward while also incorporating my previous notes.
