On the Film Barbarian
Review: Barbarian (2022)
Now this is a horror movie!
Without spoiling anything, the suspense of whether Skarsgard is a bad guy or not, the eerie basement, the sudden cut to Long, the horrors of what happened in the house, and above all, the impeccable acting of Georgina Campbell... Every piece just works.
If anything leaves to be desired, it is the motive of the antagonist in one crucial scene at the end of the film. A minor nitpick, but why do that when you're planning to kill them all anyway?
Anyway, this is still an easy 5/5 for me. Typical plot, but built up by the good pace and solid acting.
