On My Favorite Movie Scene

My favorite movie scene has always been this from Ring (1998):

There is really something special about this scene: The rain, father and son looking at each other while under umbrellas, and the context of the horror tape looming over everything. The scene was almost five seconds long and no words were spoken between the two characters. It's mundane, nothing to win cinematography awards with, but I don't know, man. It's so Japanese; it's almost like out of a Murakami book. It's poetry in action.

Edit: WAIT, THE MAN IS SHOGUN? HOW DID I MISS THAT BEFORE? Oh man, this is great. My favorite Japanese actor in my favorite Japanese scene. Cool.
