I am currently:
- Living in Manila, but wishing that I can stay in one of the provinces.
- Working as a privacy lawyer for a conglomerate in Manila. A short aside: I don't hate my work (and this specific conglomerate has nothing but been nice to me, especially when it comes to medical benefits), but the very practice of law is becoming tiring. One of my few regrets in life is not taking up a STEM degree back in college or skipping college altogether and doing manual labor, eventually moving abroad with my skills. It's particularly hard to go abroad with a law degree since well, my legal knowledge generally only applies to the Philippines.
- Watching "Dandadan" and "The Flagrant Flower Blooms With Dignity" series in Netflix. I am a sucker for romance anime and these shows hit the spot just fine. I love Dandadan so much that I even follow the manga so I do not have to wait week after week for the latest episode and my heartstrings to get tugged. Maybe I'll do the same with TFFBWD.
- Reading... nothing at the moment. I think it's sad that ever since I got diagnosed with keratoconus and partially lost sight in my right eye (and my left eye isn't doing too well either), I cannot read books as easily as before.
- Trying to learn Java, Typescript, React, and React Native, in that order. Perhaps it's too late for me, perhaps it's not, but I want to create an app that lawyers or law students can use.
- Writing vignettes for this blog.
